Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai MMA fighter from Peru and a mixed martial arts athlete competing for UFC. UFC for the Flyweight Division. She is in Kyrgyzstani. She is the older sister of her fellow UFC fighter and former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko is an experienced Muay Thai boxer started her career in fight sport at her first IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko won this tournament with a unanimous victory over Suzane Miller. Antonina was able to follow it up, and won a silver medal in 2007, a bronze in 2008 and a gold award in the year 2011 and the title of 2016 IFMA Amateur Muay Thailand World Champion. Antonia's professional career began in 2003. In 2012, she took home her the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship, in 2016, she won the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship and in 2016, the WMC World Championships. Antonina has fought her last time against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas, in the Phoenix Fighting Championship. The fight was won by a unanimous vote. Antonina Shychenko's professional MMA debut took place in 2002, at the KFK Cup of Kyrgystan in which she fought Anara Bayanova. She took the win by second round TKO and also won her subsequent two fights at WXF: X-Impact World Championships 2003. She compiled an overall record of 3-0. Shevchenko took a break from MMA to focus on her kickboxing and made her comeback in a fight against Anissa Haddaoui at Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko defeated Anissa by unanimous decision before she fought Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She left in 2018 the competition and began competing in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko defeated Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina made use of her formidable strike abilities to TKO Nievera in the clinch by knees on the body.
