Every time I felt like I forced myself to do things I didn't want to. I wasn't listening to what I wanted to do. It was more about the things I thought I was supposed to do. Prior to that, what I worried about was no longer something I'm worrying about. This is the best thing about being a parent. You'd think everything would be so easy. It's like saying "Great, I really care about what you're doing." I want to get you the things you need and, if they do happen, great. If not, well, whatever. I like to take pictures of my Starbucks cups, because although I don't think my name is too hard, I'm told it's not! My first year in conservatory turned out to be a disaster. I was convinced that the musical theater was my career for the rest of my life. I was fortunate that there weren't too many things I was required to perform apart from acting. It is still important to maintain an awareness of the reality you're creating wacky, hilarious comedy on "Great News" because otherwise it will be off-the-wall. My parents are funny in their home videos. My parents have always been funny and I've always found it easy to find humor in my daily routine. My natural ability to see the oddness or comedy in things was something I was raised with. I'd look at situations that were sad or tense and think "Well but what is amusing about this?" My workout clothes are great for me because they make me feel fantastic. My purchase of protein bars was turned down. In the days before an audition, I visited the store to test the protein bar as I was hungry. After that, I went to my bank to check it.
