Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan is Founding Co-Artistic Director of the new theatre company Speech of Fire and served as the Artistic Director for Seoul Shakespeare Company (SSC) from 2014 until 2019. She had been an actor and board member of SSC since 2011. As the artistic director of SSC, she was the company's composer, musician and text director as well as the costume, set and music designer. Although she usually led from within the acting ensemble at the end of her time, she made her first appearance as an actor (and Lighting Designer) for the SSC's King Lear. Other than acting she has been involved in a variety of game-based series. Daughter of poet Marylee Post and scientist Richard F. Post she was raised with two siblings within Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School, where she played cheerleading. The school she attended was Pomona College before graduating from Lewis & Clark College. Post had previously been married to Stephen Knox. She has been married from 1982 on to Michael A. Ross, an actor and writer, with who she has two daughters. Post is a great actress, an ideal mother and wife, and also a role model for many Hollywood stars.
